    Happy Weekend~

    8th Aug

Gracie came to our love nest on Sat to let Hubby fix her laptop and we did some cooking for lunch.

Hubby prepared the steak, I did the egg and broccoli and Gracie cooked the cheese macaroni with sausage. It was a heavenly combo loh.

Guess what our side dish was? Kimchi! Keke... Damn weird right? Aiya, no salad mah. No fish, prawn also good mah. =p The kimchi is super nice loh, not like some sub-standard ones outside. I ordered 1kg of it previously from the Internet. Have ate some already but a bit difficult to finish becos Hubby doesn't eat it and I can't possibly eat it every meal. Gracie tried and agreed its nice too, so I da bao some to let her bring home eat. =)

Anyone wanna try do let me know. After lunch, we played a bit of FB followed by Wii. Me and Gracie had so much fun trying out my nail polishes and I was showing her all the barangs I bought from the Internet, lol... Velcro fringe pad, OPI nail polishes, eyes and face masks, false lashes, eyeliner, mascara etc, keke.

Previously I ordered some tees which were less than $10 each and they sent one of the items wrong to me. I couldn't fit into the item and have to either post it back to them or giveaway. I was simply too lazy to post back to them, wait till they receive it, send me item and refund postage. Sounds like too much work. So I passed it to Gracie and hopefully its not too big for her. Gave her some masks to try out also and passed her the car decal which I got for her previously.

It was a great way to spend a lazy Sat afternoon/evening with a gf at your own place. Looking forward to the next one. =)

    9th Aug

Me & Hubby went NTUC to get some stuff for our home and Mummy. When we were alighting from the cab at our block, his aunt called him and said they were dropping by. We both got a shock and got a bit panicky. Ok, I was the one who was very panicky.... =x We quickly went up, put the stuff in place, cleaned up and organized a bit.

After a while, Big Aunt & 2nd aunt reached our place and phew, they had good comments about our house. They looked around the house, watch TV, had some drinks and ice-cream before leaving. Just before Big Aunt left, she asked me what brand of cosmetics I used. My reply was "I seldom makeup, very lazy. Only meeting with customers, dinners and events then I makeup." And Big Aunt thought I had makeup on, keke. She said my skin quite smooth and I have rosy cheeks, hehehe... *blush* I told her its all natural and I eat a lot of tomatoes... wahaha...

So happy loh! Its not the first time people think I have make-up of blusher on but it feels especially nice to hear when its from family and close friends, wahaha...

After they left, me and Hubby cooked lunch cum dinner and watched NDP on TV. I felt super patriotic when the pledge was taken at 8.22pm, keke.

After NDP, I started to make sandwiches for Hubby and my sis. Hubby wants to take it for supper while I prepared it as breakfast for my sis. We're still not talking but she fed me ice-cream the other day, so I shall close one eye... I made everything into heart shapes, keke. Heart shape bread, egg and ham. =)

    10th Aug

Its my FIL's birthday but as he's working today and the past few days from 2-11pm, we haven't got the chance to celebrate.

We're still cracking our heads over what to get and Hubby suggested this: a grandson... Kuku loh. How to give him grandson instantly? His reason for giving a grandson super lame also, our MSN conversation went soemthing like this:

    =========
    Jimmy says:
    dunno
my dad gog to work liao

BrenBren - Life is beautiful & complete with u says:
    wat u wanna give him

    Jimmy says:
i dunno leh, can't think of anything

BrenBren - Life is beautiful & complete with u says:
    .....
    anything he needs

    Jimmy says:
    not really

BrenBren - Life is beautiful & complete with u says:
    ...........

    Jimmy says:
dun want to buy clothes leh
    hard to buy

BrenBren - Life is beautiful & complete with u says:
    then wat else

    Jimmy says:
    grandson

BrenBren - Life is beautiful & complete with u says:
(MSN emoticons for hmph and angry - the monkey ones, Gracie should know which ones)

    Jimmy says:
    y

BrenBren - Life is beautiful & complete with u says:
    u kuku lo

    Jimmy says:
    but i love u mah

BrenBren - Life is beautiful & complete with u says:
    so

    Jimmy says:
so we need to make babies
    multiply our love

    ==========

Super lame loh. Sigh, seriously dunno what to get, perhaps we should just give him an angbao and let him decide what he wants to buy?

Anyway, Happy Birthday to him and hope everything goes smoothly for him!

    August Babies

I just found out recently that one of my colleague's birthday falls on National Day, so zun! 10th Aug will be my FIL's birthday and followed by mine on 13th Aug, keke...

This year's birthday is special because it will be as Mrs Lim and not Ms Ang anymore, wahaha. I still feel very shiok when people call me Mrs Lim, keke... =p

This has not been a very smooth year but it was an eventful year. We bought our flat in Jan, collected our keys in Apr, June was our 7th year together and our ROM.

I am also grateful that I have such good friends who are by my side giving me advice, help and providing a listening ear. They all offered to help without me needing to ask, I am so blessed!

Jocelyn msg me yesterday to book me on 11th Aug, keke. I guess they're celebrating my birthday for me bah, so sweet and touched~

Ok, I gtg for now. Going over to our house, Gracie is coming over to let Hubby fix her laptop and we'll have lunch at my place. Enjoy the long weekend!
