Went to GHA Yishun to try the ROM dresses since Tampines branch is so limited. I was worried and skeptical initially because the choices I had at Tampines was like almost no choice have to choose either one.

Helen picked about 3-4 white long dresses for me and I asked for short dresses as well. But she said usually bigger size customers usually prefer/choose long ones because legs will look fat if exposed. But me and the gals still feel I should try and I think I look better in short or 3/4 length dresses.

So she said she will find for me and ta dah! She found 1 short, purple dress! I was so happy and excited~ Its my fav colour loh!

I tried the 1st white long dress first and it looks ok. Simple and nice but the length really looks funny on me. Tried the purple dress and all of us felt it looked nice! Surprisingly, my legs didn't look very fat in it, keke. Err, I think my lower legs not that fat bah though not very toned? The best part was, the dresses I tried previously usually cannot be zipped all the way up, but this dress could zip up and in fact a bit bigger! It was so destined to be my ROM dress loh, haha.

Secretly took a photo in it but its not very well taken lah because they will always unzip the dress for me to change so I have to "kiap" the dress in order to keep it on to take the pic. So this photo looks like a bit no waist. No cleavage also lah cos no padding yet, lol... I wanted to keep this as a surprise, but I am really too happy and excited le, haha.

Just to confirm that I really, really love this dress, I tried on another 2 white dresses. The 2nd white dress was too tight around the arms area and the lace to cover the arms made me look old. The 3rd dress was well sweet but not impressive. So I tried the purple dress again and confirm that I really, really love it and suit me.

Changed out of it later on and Helen took my measurements for alteration. Then we headed downstairs to take a look at the hand bouquet. I wanted purple roses but scared it will blend in with the dress and I really like those bouquets with string of pearls on it.

So I decided to take purple and white roses with string of pearls on it. =) So I am on track for my purple theme, keke! Purple invitation cards, purple organza for the solemnisation table and chairs, purple labels for wedding favours, purple ROM dress, purple & white roses bouquet~ Lalala~ Left with purple tie/shirt for Hubby, hehe.


Next, we headed to Far East Plaza to shop for my heels. Helen recommended Anna Nucci and I remember Cammie bought her very nice bling, bling heels there too for her AD. I actually find most of the heels there quite tall but lucky there are a few shorter ones.

The few pairs I tried on made my ankles look very fat and big cos quite exposed. I decided to go for something more strappy so that there are more lines to "break" the fats away. So finally chose this pair! Subtle blings blings and can cover up more of my feet!


I supposed I'm almost done for the ROM preparations except for:

- collection of wedding bands before mid June
- choosing and ordering of ring pillows
- getting started on the well wishes thingy
- Hubby's shirt, pants, tie and shoes
- confirmation of no. of guests and menu with Gallery Hotel

I went shopping at Coach as well to get something, keke. But I shall not reveal it yet, keep tuned for the surprise... shhh... =x
