Things are not really gog smoothly recently, I need a lot of luck, sigh...
1) JP
We are still not able to get anyone to be our JP and the date of our 2nd HDB appt (17/Apr) is getting closer.
Though the HDB officer has said that he will obtain the extension for us, we feel its safer to file the marriage before the appointment. The popular ones (Mr Chia, Mr Yeo, Prof Yu etc) are all not available. A few did not response at all. There was a Jennifer Lim who asked us to call her secretary to check her schedule, wth...
Guess we have to try sending to all bah and see who response, haiz...
2) HDB Flat
We are supposed to do a final inspection of the flat to check if everything is in good condition before the completion date and handing of keys. So I got Hubby to call up Juliana (our agent) to check with the sellers when they can do it.
1st call - Hubby said Juliana revert that they're overseas and will only come back on completion date. I was freaking pissed cos how could they do that? They knew jolly well during the first appt that there will be a final inspection and they are coming back on the 2nd appt only? Then how in the hell am I going to inspect the flat and make sure evrything is alright?
2nd call - Hubby called her again to check and this time round she said, they were supposed to go overseas but... the husband got a heart attack and is in ICU, thus till now they have not moved.
I felt frustrated cos she doesn't seem to get the right info/fact sometimes and we're paying so much commission (3K+). On one hand, I felt pissed that this had to happen at this time, on the other hand I felt sorry for the sellers.
Sigh, I really hope that:
- he will get well soon
- they can move out on time
- the final inspection will be ok
- collect our keys with peace of mind
