Its Hubby's 30th b-day! Hitting the big "3" finally, haha.
This year is a special year becos... I did not manage to get him a present... =x
We spent the day alone cos his friends did not meet us at the last min (more on that, so pissed!).
Went to Tampines 1 to walk around while we waiting for his friends to confirm time/place to meet which was later cancelled.
It was damn crowded and after walking through the levels, I felt like I was going to faint with hunger and I was walking around in heels.
We had our lunch cum dinner at BBQ Chicken at 5pm. The service was ok only, slow in serving but prompt when we asked for stuff like chilli sauce and pepper. Food was not as good as the Downtown East outlet though.
Think we will not be returning to there anytime soon.
Headed home and got caught in a jam for freaking ages at Tampines 1. Imagine our cab fare jumped from $3 to $6+ while in the jam. The uncle was so frustrated, he did an illegal u-turn later on at the junction, lol.
We napped once we got home cos we were both tired and were lacking of sleep recently.
It was a peaceful, quiet birthday with no cake, birthday song etc but we both felt happy enough to be with each other.
Oh, mummy and sis shared to buy him a shaver though, haha.
