Nope, not the Hong Kong awards ceremony, its the bridal studio which we have booked our bridal package with. We went to the Wedding Fair at Suntec City yesterday and there were really so many ppl trying to drag you to their stall.
I had a few shops in mind to check out, namely Bliss Bridal Creations, Golden Horse Awards, Bridal Concept and Bridal Zone. I was quite interested with Bliss Bridal intitally but the uncle really pissed me and Hubby off. He was pratically following behind our back wherever we went and kept tying to drag or rather I felt forced to the stall. He kept pulling at Hubby's arm to drag us there and we felt really offended.
We decided to check out the fashion show fist but it was disappointing, not really to my taste and the commentor sound like she was having s*x loh, duhz. Her sentences all begin with "ahh... ohhh... mmm..." etc.
Didn't really like Bridal Concept & Bridal Zone's photography style and gowns, so decided to check out Golden Horse Awards. Btw, their Tampines branch is just beside my block, so its convenient haha.
We got the $3,388 package and placed a $500 deposit. Managed to nego for some stuff, thanks to Cammie! She had passed me her package details when I was asking her about her wedding stuff. Paiseh ah Cammie, asked ya so many qns previously, real thanks for your advise.
Well, I happily called home and told mum about we have booked the package. Response? "Siao ah, nothing to do izzit, go and book package for what?" Yup, that's her reply and when I got home at night, she started all the nagging and scolding again.
Basically, she feels I don't deserve any happiness, that we shouldn't be together and if we have $ to get married, why don't I support this family etc. Ya right, I am the only one working and its fair that they complain about money running out and I don't give enough money?
I am so freaking sick and tired of all this. Moreover, its only less than 2 weeks away from our 1st HDB appt and she acts like that now. She even said she will not attend our ROM and wedding. The best part? While I was chatting online with MSN with Meilin and complaining, she happen to sneeze and seeing me using the pc, she said "Whoever is talking bad abt me, the faster they die the better". She cursed her own daughter to die, fine. I seriously dunno why I am doing so much and she dun see anything except for money in her eyes.
She spoils all my happy moments and tortures me with her cruel words and cursings. I get scolding for every single little thing and she finds fault with everything, even the way I close the toilet door, wth.
Sometimes she makes me feel doubtful about myself, if I am really the person that she describes - cruel, cold-blooded, selfish etc? I don't really know anymore.
Anyway, thanks Meilin and Charlene for "listening" to my woes and offering to accompany me when I go select my ROM gown. Thanks babes! *huggies*
