Went for dinner after work at Jumbo Seafood (East Coast) with colleagues and our transporter. It was a treat from them, for what reason I'm not too sure though, haha. Maybe cos we been giving them business recently. Anyway, got food Bren will go, lol. Living up to the Greedy Monster Clan's name~
I was sitting beside Gillian initially, facing "Yang Zi" and Vincent. But they asked me to shift over and sit beside them. I declined initially cos was lazy to shift, but they claim I blocking their view of whoever, so move over loh. Turns out that from the first dish till last dish, I didn't have to move my chopsticks further than my own plate becos I was served by Vincent! Haha. He took so good care of me. "Kiap" the food for me and even the chilli crab, he also cracked the claw's shell for me, I just had to eat the meat that he peeled for me and placed on my plate. Hehe, felt like a princess sia. My tea was refilled constantly, on off asking me if I wanna eat this, wanna eat that and making sure I eat full full. We had some small chat and jokes during dinner, so it was a pleasant and fun ambience.
Before you start wondering why he's so good to me and if he has any motive, the answer is a big NO. Me and Vincent knew each other ages ago when I was in poly as he was the cousin of someone I know. We had lost contact for some years till we bump into each other again when I worked at Schenker. Coincidentally, he's our transporter as well. So in a way, I'm like a sister to him bah. To be honest, we didn't really have much chances to hang out in the past, I hang out more with his eldest brother. So was really surprised that he took such good care of me today. Maybe cos I was the only gal at that table, hehe.
Food spread: Lobster salad - Thick, fresh slices of lobster meat, Salted egg prawns, steamed fish, abalone with spinach, chicken, hongkong mee, chilli crabs, scallops with celery and dessert was almond jelly with longans. Not sure if I missed out anything cos I only had to eat, hehe.
There were quite a bit of chilli crabs leftover, so "Yang Zi' had da bao it. After dinner, some of them were going for drinks but I didn't join cos of curfew an d a bit weird also, I'm the only gal left. "Yang Zi" and Vincent sent me home on door-to-door terms. Along the way, I told "Yang Zi" to drop me at the coffeeshop will do cos I gotta da bao for mummy. Guess what? He gave me the chilli crabs to bring home as well! Haha~ He said they going for drinks, reach home dunno what time liao, might as well I bring home and eat, don't waste. So tadah~ Free chilli crabs, haha...
Brenbren was a full, satisfied gal in a good mood when I reached home. Then received a sms from someone, dampened the mood: Be punctual tmr.
Faintz... Ok loh, I shall try my best to wake up at 7am tomorrow. *yawnz*
