Things has not been smooth this week, lots of hiccups here and there. Not enough manpower and everyone is chasing for things. Suppliers chasing for docs, sub-cert, permit etc, Accounts chasing for vouchers unbooked, booked wrongly, this and that.
Then on Friday, at 4.25pm received email from a bitch, moreover is blue side one, kaoz. Its 4.25pm for goodness sake, sent me a list of import and export shipments which amount to maybe 1k+ to 2k shipments and expect me to remove the reserves within the day because its closing on Friday. What the hell. She think I sit there shake legs nothing to do or I got 8 hands? Though I sotong, also don't have so many hands and legs. Moreover, have to go through the list and check what's need to be done and I never seen this kind of report before, need to digest also. Went through the import list first when I was done with shipments and quick dinner. Out of 1,285 shpmts, 298 were not our shpmts. The reason why they appeared in that list was cos ops/consol had used our dept shpmt ref to "open" the shpmt when creating entry. Me and Bixin spent like an hour going through that list to check which shipments were not ours alone, Bixin helped to key in reserves for those that were not keyed in. By the time we finished these was already 10pm. So I did not remove the reserves that had to be done cos we both really tired and Bixin had to work the next day. I don't give a damn that she cc to the bosses, shipments more important or removing reserves more important?
On a happier note, I got to eat at Ah Chew Desserts finally after so long on Saturday. The place has expanded and there are more tables, previously it was only half a stall. I had fresh milk steamed egg and peanut paste with tang yuan, while Hubby had HK style ice red bean drink with ice-cream. The fresh milk steamed egg was very nice and smooth, hope my skin can become that smooth also after eating, lol. The peanut paste was not as tasteful and thick as before but still not bad. Maybe next time try the black sesame paste bah!
